Upon the grey clouds a bright One comes
Flying through the skies with boundless flight
Skipping, diving, speeding, swooping
He comes arrayed in brightest light
That light does not blind, but only the unwilling,
It gives sight
It illuminates
It brings warmth and comfort
My Light comes to me
He draws near with tenderness
All fears run away and hide
They cannot stand the sight of One so great
So full of Love and Trust
He draws me near
My quaking ceases
I look up and into His magnificent eyes
Acceptance, Forgiveness
He reaches out His hands to me
Deep scars in His palms.
My heart melts; I am home.
