O Give Thanks to Chuckie D.
Charles
R. Darwin was born on February 12, 1809. When he
was fifty years old, his most famous work was
published, "The Origin of Species". In
this book, he claims all life forms on earth must
necessarily have evolved from lesser life forms,
and that all existing life forms are in
transition towards higher life forms yet to be
realized.

If
Chuckie D. was in fact RIGHT, mankind is cursed
to know the inner workings of nature, since now
many strong, powerful manipulators seek to use
this knowledge to their benefit, and to the
severe disadvantage of the population at large. A
few of those who thought Chuckie D. was right:
Hitler (dictator of Nazi Germany), Stalin (ruthless
dictator of Communist Russia), Joseph Mengele (a
butcher under Hitler's authority, who performed
outrageous medical experiments on people),
Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood, a
major proponent and provider of abortions in
America).
If
Chuckie D. was WRONG, then he knows it well now
and sees the gross error he has tragically
infused upon mankind. Worse yet, he has already
faced his Creator with shame and regret, and has
justly received his deserved judgment. He would
like to have done differently and more
beneficially with his life, but it's too late now.
Either
way, Chuckie D. is not someone to envy. Or honor.
Or celebrate. Or remember fondly.
But
there is someone to honor, celebrate and remember
day after day. The Lord of all Creation. The
Master Designer. The Author of all Life. He is
the Lord Jesus Christ. He made it all. One day He
will renew the earth and rule over it with
justice, peace and love.

Psalm 96:1-6
1 Oh, sing to the LORD a new song!
Sing to the LORD, all the
earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, bless His
name;
Proclaim the good news
of His salvation from day to day.
3 Declare His glory among
the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
4 For the LORD is great
and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the peoples are
idols,
But the LORD made the heavens.
6 Honor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. |
