A new life
can be obtained only through Jesus Christ, the
Creator and Author of Life. There is no other way
(though there seem to be many other ways that
people offer). God
lovingly shows us that we are sinners, ones who
fall short of His holiness and purity. We try all
sorts of ways to feel good about ourselves and
improve our lives: take classes and seminars,
lead a wholesome life, stick to good diet and
exercise, be devoutly religious, attend church,
occasionally do good things for others, avoid
hurting others, etc. But all our ways fall short.
Sooner or later, when it comes time for us to
face the Living God, we will see that it is
impossible for anyone on earth to measure up on
his or her own strength and intellect.
God graciously took this dilemma of
ours into His own hands. He sent His only Son
Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect sinless life on
earth, to die brutally on a Roman cross to
provide payment for all sins, for all people — past,
present and future. He asks and invites you to
receive this gift of His in exchange for your own
life. You give your life to Him, in exchange He
gives you eternal life in heaven, along with the
promise to help and guide you through this life
with His Holy Spirit. He will never leave or
abandon you, ever. God always keeps His promises.
Do you want this?
Do you want Jesus the Author of Life to live in
your heart?
Do you want Him to forgive every sin you've ever
done against Him?
If you do, then ask God now to
forgive you for all the sins, rebellion and
wrongdoing you've ever done in your life. Ask
Jesus the Son of God to come and live in your
heart and life. Commit yourself right now to live
for Him and to allow Him to change your ways,
thoughts and lifestyle. Thank Him for His mercy,
grace and forgiveness of all your sins. He hears
you and gives you a new life in Jesus Christ.
Merciful God!
Please forgive me of all the sins, rebellion,
wrongdoing, thoughts and harm to others I've
ever done in my life. Through the blood of
Jesus which was poured out for me, make me
pure in your sight.
Lord Jesus Christ, please come to me now.
Make yourself real to me and take up a
permanent place of residence in my body,
mind, heart and life.
I give you my life. I commit myself to live
for You. Starting right now, I allow You to
make whatever changes You want to make in my
life, thoughts, speech, lifestyle and habits.
Thank you for dying on the cross to take away
the punishment of eternal hell away from me.
Thank you for forgiving me of all my sins.
Thank you for giving me a new life in You.
Let my life be the way You wanted it to be
all along.
Amen.
Is this the desire of your heart? If it is,
and if you have asked God all these things in all
sincerity, then know that God heard you. He has
forgiven you of every wrong — even if
you have taken the life of another person.
Welcome to a new life in Jesus Christ!
He is now restoring you to a place
of being pure in His eyes. He is giving to you
the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who will live in
you and guide you through all of life. Your life
will not become easier, but you will have more
help than you've ever known before. And you will
join a family of people all around the world who
have been there before and understand where
you're coming from.
Ask God to lead you to those people
who truly are His family. Ask Him to protect you
from being tricked or deceived by anyone who
wants to persuade you that this is all a fairy
tale or a lie. Get a Bible and read it daily for
spiritual nourishment, comfort, strength, wisdom
and knowledge of truth. Set your mind to live a
new life, for the rest of your life. God will
show you what needs to change in your life, when
it needs to change. Tell others about your
decision to follow Jesus Christ. Be willing to
serve Him in whatever way He asks you. Learn to
hear His voice as He speaks personally and
uniquely to you.

If you do not want to follow Jesus
now, know that God is always waiting
for you and longing to have you join in His
family. But don't wait too long. Time may run out
on you unexpectedly. The longer you wait, the
harder it will be to say "yes" to God.
You may become entrenched in your thoughts and
lifestyle, then it will seem impossible to say
"yes".
If you don't ever say "yes"
to Jesus, even if you claim to know Him or have
prayed to Him,
you will face an eternity apart from
God's glorious presence. You will be judged to
spend all eternity in hell, the lake of fire, a
real place. You will have no recourse. Once you
face God as your judge, it will be too late to
turn to Him.
Do you already believe in Jesus, but
aren't sure you can sacrifice your way of life to
Him? The things we don't want to give up,
they're like carrying around a big bag of heavy
rocks strapped to our back. We may claim to enjoy
them from time to time, but eventually they take
more from us than they give us. God's love, joy,
peace, strength and personal presence aren't like
that. They are the very essence of living and
once you have them, you know there's nothing
better in life. If you're in this predicament and
want to change, ask God today and everyday to
renew your mind so that you will naturally want
what He wants for your life — which
happens to be the very best there is.
Think about it!
And act now, before it becomes too late.
